Reservation Conditions
Explornatura S.A. has age limits for ALL adventure activities. These ages are in
concordance with our insurance company’s policies. For all reservations we require
prepayment or a valid credit card number to hold the reservation. This credit card
may be charged according to our cancelation policies.
All of our half-day tours departing from San Jose begin in the morning. For AM tours
all reservations must be received the day before the activity is required. For PM
tours all reservations must be received with at least 4 hours notice and pickups
are not offered outside of Turrialba. All reservations will be confirmed depending
on availability.
Cancelation Policies
Explornatura reserves the right to cancel, modify or replace any tour due to safety
concerns, which can include but are not limited to weather, acts of nature, etc.
If a tour is canceled BEFORE it starts a credit or comparable product will be given.
If a tour is canceled AFTER it starts then no credit or refund will be given.
If there is a no show, you will be charged in full and no refund nor credits will
be given.We reserve the right to “cancel” any person for reasons such as drugs,
alcohol, handicap, age, or any other factor that may affect the safety of the trip
and or the individual. If this happens neither refund nor credit will be given.
Cancelations received with at least 48 hours notice receive a full credit of the
amount paid that can be used for any Explornatura Service.
Cancelations received with less than a 48 hours notice will not receive a credit
nor any form of refund. We reserve the right to modify our cancelation policies
for any reason that we determine compelling that can include but is not limited
to different providers’ policies, special circumstances, etc.
Forms of payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Colones, Dollars, and Euros. WE DO NOT ACCCEPT PERSONAL
CHECKS OR TRAVELERS CHECKS.
